Description :
  • Compose, type, edit, and proof correspondence, reports, and documents.
  • Manage calendars, arrange meetings, and travel for busy executive managers.
  • Serve as Department liaison to the public, elected officials, City Manager's Office, and departments, providing information and assistance.
  • Lead for all aspects of City Council letter processing.
  • Litigation Liaison.
  • Citywide Communications Committee representative.
  • Coordinate and track Department workflow including requests for information, reports, and assignments.
  • Lead and coordinate Department support staff functions to ensure consistent and professional procedures are utilized throughout the Department.
  • Supervise front desk coverage.
  • Electronic and hardcopy file maintenance.
  • Coordinate special projects.
Requirements :
  • Five years of progressively responsible secretarial and/or administrative assistant experience.
  • AA degree or higher and public service/government agency experience is highly desirable.
